Some of My Recent Looks

Hi guys, sorry for not posting anything last week. It was a pretty crazy one, so I couldn't make it, but I promise to make it up this week :).

Today I want to show you just some of my recent looks randomly chosen. The last look (#5) is a teaser for an upcoming review of the LE Real Techniques makeup palettes. Hope you enjoy.

Please, share in the comments which look you liked or what are some of your recent looks that you've been wearing or would like to try. Thank you for stopping by to read my blog. Your time and comments are greatly appreciated.

  1. Ooooooooo I love the first one.
Question: how do you do the eye shadow?? the brown looks really well blended and I have a problem with it not looking like a gradual change from light to dark or vice versa... :)

    1. Thank you for stopping by my blog, Cassia. That's very sweet of you ))).
I basically just blend-blend-blend until I'm happy with the result.
With a smokey eye it's quite simple: you use different eye-shadows in a gradual manner from darkest at the lash line and outer corner to lightest under the brow-bone.
Also if you're using very contrasting colors together, they will look obviously more harsh and will require more work for a perfectly blended look, so go for shades that are 1-2 shades different like beige and dark-beige or plum or brown, and not like a super light campaign with black or navy.
Also keep your skin tone in mind, and try not to choose colors that will "yell" too much at it. Go for something more skin tone friendly.
...Or just don't fuss around too much and do a one eye-shadow look with a mid-tone color all over the lid and blended out into the crease slightly. It will be perfectly blended ))).
